Flow Transport Phenomena
The course aims to develop fundamental understanding of the generic mechanisms of pollutant migration/transport (such as advection, diffusion and dispersion processes) related to air, water, and soil. It also aims at developing appreciation of air/water/soil quality assurance and basic understanding of aspects of environmental design. The project will cover applications with particular reference to free surface flow and sediment transport, groundwater and seepage, and air and water pollution.
