EFM Lab facilities support both research projects and undergraduate teaching in Environmental Fluid Mechanics. The lab is equipped with a wide range of experimental arrangements for investigating fluid flow phenomena in environmental and industrial applications, such as air pollution, airflow and dispersion in urban areas and water flows and pollution in water bodies.
EFM Lab aims to understand the physical processes involved in such fluid flow phenomena and to develop new mathematical models to simulated them, by combining theoretical, experimental and computational investigations.
