The “good practices” investigated for the study area, in the area of ​​”old Nicosia” and in particular the pedestrian street of “Ledras”. These practices are linked to interventions of a political nature and then evaluated in terms of cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit. The purpose of the investigation is to make recommendations for improving the thermal comfort in the outdoor area being studied, through data that make them indicative of the real conditions and realistic in terms of their implementation. The interventions studied were: i) the planting of trees along the footpath, ii) the replacement of the asphalt paving material of the footpath with a special material, iii) the replacement of the existing coating material on the sides of the buildings, with an appropriate material.
