Vision

To generate an Isle of Excellence in the subject of Urban Microclimate and the Design of Sustainable Built Environments by bringing together all the complementary relevant research partners in the field in Cyprus and generate a hub of holistic cutting-edge expertise on the subject that will serve both the needs of the country but also to become an internationally recognized Center (Isle) of Excellence in the subject.

To create and promote a culture of Excellence in the field (and through it and beyond) to students, young scientists and researchers by transforming the new research knowledge generated within the project into up-to-date creative learning experiences for young researchers and scientists at national and international levels through strategically designed teaching and learning activities.

To bring further added value as well as realize the full potential of recently built or created cutting-edge infrastructures in Cyprus as such, the synergy of the partners builds on the strengths of each of them and the emphasis of efforts is bringing to the surface the unique value of such synergies and collaborations in addressing real solutions for real problems.

To integrate top international leaders in the field within the project consortium for promoting and disseminating the outcomes of the project work in international thinking and working fora, therefore part of international research networking.
