Before any student or researcher conducts an experiment in the laboratory, he/she must be fully aware of the hazards and dangers that could occur in the laboratory. For this reason an Environmental Fluid Mechanics laboratory Health and Safety booklet has been prepared. It is necessary that the students or researches read it through and understand thoroughly the health and safety regulations that should be followed in the laboratory:A note confirming this must be signed before any user conducts any experiment in the laboratory.

The health and safety booklet is kept up to date in accordance to the European Laboratory Health and Safety Standards.
